Tools for mentors - coaches

Together with European partners, Kenwerk has developed a number of tools to help mentors – coaches work with students. These tools are designed to help make your job easier during the coaching process. You will find tools and checklists for each step of the work placement experience here. For example, we have a checklist to use in preparation of receiving students, tips on conducting coaching interviews and a summary of your role as mentor - coach: what exactly does being a mentor – coach involve?

EU-Move portal
All tools and additional helpful information are posted in English on an international portal: www.eumoveabroad.eu.

Using EU-Move
The website contains information for companies and mentors – coaches (and students, too!) in the hospitality, retail and health care sectors.

Your responsibility as a mentor is to organize, plan, coach, evaluate and assess during the work placement period. For each of these steps, you will find on EU-Move supporting tools which might help you to carry out your tasks as a mentor properly. To find these supporting tools please click on www.eumoveabroad.eu. Next, click on the button > Mentor to view and download the available tools.

Experience with Dutch students
We are always interested in hearing about your experiences with Dutch students! You can share your thoughts by filling in the online evaluation form. We also have a form for Dutch students to provide Kenwerk with feedback about their work placement experience abroad.
