Training students

If you want to train Dutch students in your company, then you will need to become a certified work placement company. According to the Dutch Adult and Vocational Education Act (Wet Educatie Beroepsonderwijs), students in the secondary vocational education system must fulfil the practical part of their study in certified work placement companies.

In order to become certified, your company must be able to demonstrate both a willingness and the capacity to train students. Students must have a safe environment in which to learn their chosen trade, and ample time and attention must be paid to their study and development.
